The branding and visual identity project for Pousada Vento Sul began with the intention of creating a visual language that felt connected to the destination without relying on the clichés commonly associated with the region. Instead of reproducing familiar references of beaches, tropical landscapes, or rustic hospitality, the project focused on translating the feeling of arriving at a boutique pousada: slowing down, disconnecting from the outside world, and finding a sense of calm.
Was developed around simplicity, lightness, and a refined sense of comfort. Each element was carefully considered to create an identity that feels natural and understated, while still expressing sophistication. The goal was not to make the brand visually loud, but to create a quiet presence that reflects the experience itself, allowing the identity to breathe and communicate through subtle details.
The concept also came from understanding the pousada as more than a place to stay. It is a space where architecture, nature, hospitality, and everyday rituals come together. This led to a visual system with a contemporary boutique character, balancing organic references with clean typography, restrained compositions, and a warm, tactile aesthetic.
The result avoids an overly rustic or touristic approach, giving Vento Sul a more timeless and distinctive personality.Ultimately, the identity was designed to communicate what the guest should feel from the moment they arrive: comfort without excess, simplicity without losing sophistication, and a sense of calm that invites them to stay a little longer. The branding became an extension of the pousada itself, creating a visual experience that feels intimate, effortless, and deeply connected to the atmosphere of Vento Sul.
