Vó Chica is a traditional Brazilian restaurant with locations in São Bento do Sul and Joinville. The brand was created to modernize a restaurant that has been part of the local community for many years, transforming it into a contemporary food experience focused on takeaway and fast delivery while preserving its roots. Inspired by the grandmother of the current owners, the identity celebrates the family's heritage and the homemade recipes that have been passed down through generations, connecting the restaurant's history with its present-day evolution.
The visual identity was designed to balance tradition and modernity. A bold yet welcoming aesthetic combines handcrafted details with clean typography, creating a recognizable and versatile system across packaging, signage, digital platforms, and printed materials. The color palette was intentionally kept solid and contemporary, reinforcing the restaurant's personality while ensuring consistency and strong brand recognition in both physical and digital environments.
Five years after the original launch, the identity was carefully redesigned to reflect the restaurant's growth. The logo was refined, visual elements were updated, and the branding system was expanded to better support new applications and customer touchpoints. The result is a timeless identity that respects the legacy of Vó Chica while positioning the brand as a modern restaurant built for today's fast-paced dining experience.
